Default Do people still use this?

I honestly have been waiting for e-gold to just disappear. I haven't seen it used by very many legitimate businesses, mainly just the surf ponzi schemes and some paid-to-click programs. There are some legitimate PTCs but the majority are quite shady. E-gold sounds like a good idea but it's also a real pain to fund or get your money back out.

There are like a thousand of them that use E-gold who are afraid of using their credit card online. Probably the news hasn't reached them. Other alternatives to E-gold are open for people like Webmoney and GoldMoney.

I am not too sure about the two you referenced but I have heard of Egold though I have not used it. It seems there are a ton of people out there who have used it but I have yet a need for it so I guess I just shyed away from it for the time being.

I'm not sure of any sites that use this anymore. I think I've only been to one site in the past 3 years were I have seen E-Gold.

I hope not. From what I've read in an old article, E-gold had been put down since 2007 as far as I can remember. I've read too that E-gold has been replaced by other alternatives, too bad the Webmoney is based in Russia. I don't even know if Webmoney is legal and trusted.

The only places I have seen mention of this is when someone has some money stuck in an eGold account and they want someone with another payment processor account to convert it into a more usable form for them.

There are some PTC that I have seen with this but the most are those places for gaming scenes that give out gold for cash and use this as a way to do so. Its kind of scary that an average game can not even hide from these scammers out there.
