 China officials are telling no idea on request of G8 reserve currency
He Yafei (Vice Foreign Minister) said on Thursday he did not heard about the matter of any request. China requested a discuss about global reserve currencies.
When Reporter asked to the Vice Minister about this matter, Mr. He Yafei replied that he didn’t hear about this matter yet.
We heard some words about this matter that Beijing asked to proposal of discussion on a new global reserve currency in Group discussion of eight summits at next week in Italy.
He has said that beijing expected US dollar, the main global reserve currencies remained steady but added that China "of course" expected in future for reserve currency diversification.
