I wasn't even aware that Western Union could be considered an ecurrency. I've only seen it offline to send money fast (for exorbitant fees, I might add). How does it work online?

I was unaware that Western Union had an online service, I thought that you had to go to one of their authorized locations to pick up the check that was sent for you.

Just because this was interesting I decided to check this out just for fun. Apparently, you can fund through credit cards or debit cards. The fees are crazy. To send $200 in the United States to someone, it would cost anywhere from $17 to $33 depending on how quickly you wanted it done.

Well, im from germany and i had very good experiences with the online-service around these parts, the costs are almost the same and it's pretty easy to use.

You just register with your credit card and then you can immediately send the money..

you choose the receiver's country and the amount, then you just follow the instructions.

After all you can just call the service from your home landline and they will ask some questions for verification like your birth-day or some other things..

THAT'S IT !

I paid for a 500 Euro transaction about 20-30 Euro only.

(But there was no option how fast the money arrives, it arrives immediately so im wondering what "ecurrencyfan" means ..)
